Perhaps your network doesn't have enough capacity to carry your MPEG-2
data. Note that for most MPEG-2 (including DVD VOB) data, you'll need
something like a 100 Mbps Ethernet. (10 Mbps isn't enough to carry such
data reliably.)
Another possibility is that you're trying to stream an encrypted ".vob"
file - e.g., one that you copied directly from a copy-protected DVD. That
won't work.
