This is the first thing that you should have mentioned - a problem that 
you're having with the original, unmodified code.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to reproduce your problem (with the latest 
version of the LIVE.COM code, and the latest version (0.8.1) of VLC).

Are you using a recent (& unmodified) version of the LIVE.COM code?  What 
version of VLC are you using?
