You shouldn't need to upgrade to the 2005.02.14 version of the LIVE.COM 
code (the changes there were insignificant).  My testing was done with 
"testMPEG4VideoStreamer" running on FreeBSD, and VLC running on Windows.

If VLC version 0.8.1 on Windows (with "testMPEG4VideoStreamer" on Fedora) 
still has the same problem, then please put your "test.m4v" file on a web 
server, and send me the URL, so I can try to reproduce the problem.
