[Live-devel] mpeg4 encoder

Hallo,
 
I'm using the Mpeg4VideoStreamDiscreteFramer to stream a live stream from on
computer to the other.
The Sink I use is: Mpeg4ESVideoRTPSink.
 
Currently I'm using the DirectShow mpeg4 encoder from http://www.3ivx.com/. 
This encoder runs very good with VLC or QuickTime.
 
Now I would like to use some other encoder like DivX 5.2.1.
But this encoder does not work with the VLC Viewer or QuickTime.
Does anyone know why? Can anyone tell me which settings are important on the
encoder.
Or is there an other encoder which I can use?
