Depending on what specifically you want to do - probably not.  But, of
course, the code is Open Source, so feel free to modify it as you wish.

Are your proposed protocol changes part of the existing RTSP protocol
standard (RFC 2326 or draft-ietf-mmusic-rfc2326bis, or some existing
Internet Draft)?  If not, then I'm generally disinclined to help you here.
We already have a major problem trying to handle media servers and clients
(e.g., settop boxes) whose use of the RTSP protocol is non-standard, and I'd
rather not make the situation even worse.

If, on the other hand, your proposed changes are part of the RTSP standard
(i.e., that the current "RTSPServer" code does not support), then I'll be
much more likely to help you.
