In principle you can (depending on the particular media type that you're 
using).  In practice, though, few media players will play such 
streams.  Instead, most expect separate RTP streams for audio and 
video.  So that's what you should use.

In practice, the only combined audio+video format that can both be streamed 
via RTP, and played by media players, is MPEG Transport Stream.
