[Live-devel] groupsock IPv6 Compatible?

Seen on the TODO list of Live.com : 
"- Fix the "groupsock" implementation so that it could use IPv6 instead of IPv4. (At present, 4-byte addresses are hard-wired into the code in several places.)"

 

Is the Live.com documentation outdated (even though there is nothing about IPv6 in their Changelog), or is VLC using work-arounds to be IPv6-compliant?
