Thanks for the pointer, but this does not explain why (or if) the 
multicast source address (for receiving Source-Specific Multicast) is 
set using "setsockopt(..., IP_MULTICAST_IF)" rather than (the more 
conventional) "setsockopt(..., IP_ADD_SOURCE_MEMBERSHIP)".
