Thanks for the report.  I have now found and fixed the 
problem.  (This bug accidentally got introduced in release 
2006.02.15, when we added support for receiving and handling 
(optional) requests that are sent back from the server.  Now, this 
support is enabled only for regular RTP-over-UDP streaming.)

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using "openRTSP" or are developing your 
own RTSP client software, then you must upgrade to the newest version 
(2006.03.17) of the "LIVE555 Streaming Media" software, unless you 
are sure you will not be requesting RTP-over-TCP streaming.

***NOTE TO THE VLC DEVELOPERS*** You must upgrade to use version 
2006.03.17 or later of the LIVE555 code before you release the final 
(i.e., non-test) version of VLC 0.8.5
