This probably isn't the right place to ask, but what I'm
really after is an infrastructure that will let me take a
video "frame" (ideally off of a DSP board, but let's
KISS it and say a grayscale oscillating 0-255) and
serve it up in a format that's readable by vlc or similar
media client.  The container/file format doesn't really
matter, only that there's no inter-frame encoding.
(This runs inside my lab at 1000T, so bandwidth isn't
an issue.)  If Live isn't the way to go, is there something
else that'll fit the bill?  The simpler the better.
