I missed the minus before the 10 before the second example and got confused!

While reviewing the FAQ for OpenRTSP I think I found a typo.

 

In section: "Playing without receiving" I read

 

For example, if the SDP description contains "a=range:npt=0-25", then "-d
10" means "play the stream(s) for 10 seconds, then exit", and "-d -10" means
"play the stream(s) for 35 seconds, then exit".


No - this is correct.  Read the openRTSP documentation
