[Live-devel] MediaSession.cpp patch suggestion

Hi Ross,

I'm not sure if there's any reason against this patch,
but since 16-bit PCM audio is always transferred in network byte order,
shouldn't the byte order be swapped again on the client side before the sink receives the data?
Or is there any case where this isn't true?

On the other hand, this change might break existing code bases if "they" do the swapping "manually".

I've attached a patch that automatically inserts your EndianSwap16 filter when a source is created for codec type L16.

(it's the first time I've created one) so I'm not sure if it's in the correct format...

Regards,
Ralf
