[Live-devel] End RTSP client session cleanly

Hi Ross,
We are using the liveMedia RTSP server to deliver media using
a source based on the DeviceSource class.

What is the correct way to initiate the shutdown of a specific
RTSP client session from the server side? This is to cater for the scenario
in which an administrator wants to disconnect a specific client (e.g. based on IP).

I have located the device source and tried simply calling
Medium::close(pDeviceSource);
This does cause end the delivery of media to the connected client, but
causes an access violation later on once the RtspClientSession times out
(as the source pointer is no longer valid).

Is there a "correct" way to end an RTSP client session from the server side?

Thanks,

Kind regards,
Ralf
