[Live-devel] can't compile open RTSP on Mac or Sun

Hi,

I am on a Mac OSX 10.5.8.  I got the live555-latest.tar.gz
09-Apr-2010.  I unbundled, cd into the diretory and

./genMakefiles macosx
make
...
make[1]: *** [testMP3Streamer] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

What's wrong?

On my Sun workstation I get this error:

...
cc -c -Iinclude -I../UsageEnvironment/include -I../groupsock/include -I. -O -DSOLARIS -DSOCKLEN_T=socklen_t rtcp_from_spec.c       
/usr/ucb/cc:  language optional software package not installed
make[1]: *** [rtcp_from_spec.o] Error 1
...
make: *** [all] Error 2

I don't really care about optional languges ... maybe there's a flag
to say this?
