Is it really this simple to generate an MP4 file? It is simply a serialized h264 stream? I don't need some other library in order to create an MP4 file?
Thanks...

Use order "openRTSP -4 rtsp://... > test.mp4" to receive stream media. When the end, the QuickTime can't play the mp4 file, why?
Unfortunately, I don't know. However, it's very important that you specify the correct video frame rate, width and height - using the -f -w and -h options - see http://www.live555.com/openRTSP/#quicktime
You might also try playing your file using VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc (VLC can often play files that QuickTime Player cannot.)
PS: My English is so bad, don't laugh me.
Your English is good (and much better than my Chinese :-)
