Yes, because there's no standard way defined - in the RTP protocol - for streaming the 'ID3' tag information along with the MP3 audio data.  Our software deals only with the MP3 audio frames.

If you really want your receiver to get ID3 tags for MP3 files, then you should be doing file transfer, not streaming.
