This appears to be the key to your problem.  Something has failed - most likely at the server end, given that you had already stopped receiving RTP packets - and the client's OS is having trouble reconnecting to the server.  (This is happening below the level of the LIVE555 code.)

If - as appears likely - this is a problem with your server, then you're going to have to fix the problem at that end.  (There's nothing that a client can do to fix a wedged server.)
