so, i would have to use the on demand RTSP server and not the RTSP proxy, 
right?

Yes, our code supports using this kind of stream as an input to a RTSP 
server.  Note, for example, how the "testOnDemandRTSPServer" demo 
application does this, using the "MPEG2TransportUDPServerMediaSubsession" 
class. (See "testProgs/testOnDemandRTSPServer.cpp", near the end.  Note 
however, that in your case, you will want to set the "inputStreamIsRawUDP" 
variable to True, and, of course, change the multicast address and port 
variables.)
