OK, the problem here is with the *server* - it should not be hanging when it receives the client's "TEARDOWN" command.  Please contact the server's manufacturer, and tell them to fix this problem.

However, to allow for this situation occurring (the server hanging on "TEARDOWN"), I have now installed a new version (2013.08.05) of the "LIVE555 Streaming Media" code that updates the "openRTSP" command so that if it is signaled to end (via "kill -HUP"), then it no longer waits for a response to the "TEARDOWN" command.
