If you are using a WebRTC-compliant browser (e.g., recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Opera - but *not* Safari or Internet Explorer), then you may be interested in taking a look at our experimental WebRTC demo at

This is a 'sneak preview’ of future LIVE555 technology for streaming real-time video (and/or audio) streams to web browsers, without requiring a browser ‘plugin’.
To see the video, you will need to be running a WebRTC-compliant browser, and also must not be behind a firewall that blocks UDP packets. (Being behind a NAT, however, should be OK, provided that is passes UDP packets.)
The technology behind the demo is described in more detail on the web page.
