No, we don’t include any codec (decoding or encoding) code.  That’s something that you need to write yourself.

Most developers use “ffmpeg” (or its successor, “libav”) for decoding.  Be aware, however, that many codecs are covered by patents, so if you’re in (or developing for) a country that supports software patents, then be aware :-(  (Once again, you should consult your company’s intellectual property attorneys before proceeding.)
