Ben. Thanks for your clarifications and guidance. 
More startup questions.
For a video-streaming server side application, how would one make the call between C++ libraries and  a Python environment ?
Would the C++ libraries be called by Python ? C++ would be much faster of course.
What would be best done in C++ and what in Python ?
