Got it working had to set the g_authDB and

g_authDBForREGISTER to NULL

when creating the RTSPServer. Guess to user/pass,

would like to know why it did not work.

At least I can eval for now.

Craig

Ross,

The fact the registerStream is called on the RTSP server, I was not sure if you are still honoring my passwords I have setup. It was not clear, what the username, password fields are for in your API. The online docs do not explain it parameter, and digging through the code to figure out what is being done takes more time than just testing the example. The webrtc.live555.com makes claims it is really easy and it was not for me (NOTE: the questions on this list).

So the error code I posted implies that I did not pass the user/pwd?

Sorry, I do not understand the proxy as well as you and some of the added features such as REGISTER, I am just trying to evaluate if it makes sense to talk to you more about using your solution or do I need to go in a different direction.

I will try adding the user/pass to see if it works.

Thanks,

Craig

Also:

Err, no. If the RTSP stream (the one that you are calling “REGISTER” for) requires a username+password, then you need to pass those strings as parameters to your call to “registerStream()”. (I don’t understand why you would think otherwise.)
