I have just installed a new version (2019.07.27) that fixes a bug in Matroska (or equivalently Webm) file parsing. If you are using this software to stream from Matroska/Webm files, then you should upgrade.

I have also added a new demo application (in the “testProgs”) directory called “testMKVSplitter”. This application takes, as input, a Matroska or Webm file, and outputs separate files for each of its tracks (audio, video, subtitles).

H.264 (or H.265) video tracks will automatically be output as H.264/H.265 Elementary Stream video files (that can be played directly, or streamed from). Similarly, Vorbis or Opus audio tracks, or Theora video tracks, will automatically be output as Ogg-format files (that can also be played directly, or streamed from).
