Whoa!  Why are you using ‘mutex’es?  I hope this doesn’t mean that you are calling LIVE555 code from more than one thread?  You absolutely cannot do this; a LIVE555-based application must be single-threaded, using an event loop (rather than threads) to provide concurrency.
