Thanks for the report.  This was very old code (perhaps more than 2 decades old) that (if I recall correctly) was intended to work around bugs in some old Linux systems that were returning these error codes, but did not have their textual names in header files.

I have just installed a new version (2026.08.06) of the code that changes these error codes to use their textual names, as you suggested.
