It’s apparently a bit more complicated than that, because on my (MacOS) system at least, I get no warning when I build DelayQueue.o.  (Also,I think you meant #ifndef rather than #ifdef :-)

Fixing this is low priority, because the useconds value is always <1000000, so there will never be any overflow if it’s stored in a (32-bit) int.
