Perhaps the output file is not being written completely, because you are not terminating "openRTSP" correctly? See the "Important note:" mentioned here: <a href="http://www.live555.com/openRTSP/#quicktime" target="_blank">http://www.live555.com/openRTSP/#quicktime</a><br>

For the output file to be written properly, you can't just <control>-c "openRTSP". Instead, give it a duration in advance, using the "-d <duration>" option, or signal it with SIGHUP or SIGUSR1.<br>
