using VLC. I'm streaming from the local host by using a URL

about using WMP and Live?</font>
<br></blockquote><div><br>WMP uses a non-standard form of RTSP, so it's generally incompatible with standards based RTSP servers. About the only thing it works well with is Windows Media Services, which generally uses a proprietary protocol called mms, or raw HTTP. <br>
