The basic issue here is that the file written to by "QuickTimeFileSink" has to be 'seekable', because ".mov"/".mp4" files contain header information near the start that can be filled in only when the stream ends.</div><div><br></div><div>Alternatively, if that doesn't work, you could modify your copy of "playCommon.cpp" to change the call to "QuickFileFileSink::createNew()" (on line 686) to use your output file name, instead of "stderr".</div><br><div apple-content-edited="true">
