Hi,

I'm trying to stream JPEG images via RTP.

After using Jpeg Parser from
http://dbmibu.blogspot.in/2011/06/streaming-jpeg-images-over-rtp-using.html I could verify that I only send Jpeg data without header information and that virtual u_int8_t type() and width/height return the right values. For qFactor I tested some values
and found, that the header doesn't change anymore for some higher values, but I'm not sure whether I've set qFactor right. I'm using a hardware encoder and its documentation doesn't use a quantization factor but a quality factor (the bigger the more compression)...
so I just tried to use that value.

I'm getting images but they have some wrong pixel values (looks like wrong brightness, but not sure).

So I looked at the headers to compare and found this:

original image header:
Is a wrong qFactor value the reason for the wrong header, or how/where do I have to change my JpegSource class or the server / session to stream to fix it?

Thanks in advance,
Michael
