So, each 4 seconds, the current recording clip is closed and a new one is created (h264 in MP4 container). Of course, the old clips (ie let's say from a few days ago) are automatically deleted. This "video splitting feature" is mandatory for our project, mainly for fast indexing and video extraction.<br class=""><br class="">Now, we would like to add an RTSP server to stream those small mp4 files (ie kind of live streaming with 4 seconds delay). We look into the live555 code and we do not know exactly what would be the best way to streams those small files, of course without re-encoding it.<br class=""></div></blockquote><div><br class=""></div></div>Unfortunately you can’t do this with the LIVE555 code, because it currently doesn’t include a demultiplexor for ‘MP4’-format files.<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Instead, if you have a way of generating Matroska (i.e., ‘.mkv’ or ‘.webm’) files, then the LIVE555 code could stream those.</div><br class=""><br class=""><div apple-content-edited="true" class="">
