[Live-devel] A stupid question (I hope)

I just installed the live.com streaming package on my linux (redhat 7.3)
computer which I wanted to use for some research work I am doing. I ran
"./genMakefiles linux", and then make. Everything seemed to compile
well, except for a couple of warnings on type casts to a pointer from
integers of a different size.
Just to insure it was working, I started up a server process using
testOnDemandRTSPServer. I found an mp3 file, called it test.mp3 and
placed it in the directory. To receive, I tried using openRTSP (on the
same computer). When running openRTSP, however, no information is
streamed from the server. After receiving the SDP description, the
program just sits there, and nothing is received. I also tried the "-t"
option as mentioned on the web page, but after sitting there for a
while, the program terminates with a "broken pipe" message. In both
cases, nothing gets written out, and as best as I can tell (running the
-n option) nothing is ever received. There are no error messages or
other output that signify that anything is wrong.
Any ideas why?
