Ross:

I downloaded your latest release live.2004.03.02.tar.gz and tested streaming
audio with testMP3Streamer, it crashed twice.
for your information, I did changed one line of code in your file
testMP3Streamer.cpp as the following:
here is what's dumped out:

RTSPClientSession[0x80ca858]::incomingRequestHandler1() read 147
bytes:TEARDOWN rtsp://65.115.229.114:6060/testStream/track1 RTSP/1.0
CSeq: 4
Session: 1
User-Agent: MPlayer (LIVE.COM Streaming Media v2004.01.28)

parseRequestString() returned cmdName "TEARDOWN", urlPreSuffix "testStream",
urlSuffix "track1"
Segmentation fault

the crash wouldn't happen until playing for a while.

Frank

FYI, I fixed a couple of minor bugs (one in "RTSPServer.cpp"; another in
"testMP3Streamer.cpp") that could potentially have caused the crash that
you saw. A new software version (2004.03.02) is now available.

If you still encounter the crash, please let us know.
