You call "MediaSubsession::rtpSource()" on the "MediaSubsession" object.

>"discard everything until you see this RTP packet...."

You can then call "RTPSource::curPacketRTPSeqNum()" to get/check the 
sequence number of the most recently-received RTP packet.
