I suggest that you look at the source code for the VLC media player 
<http://www.videolan.org/vlc/>, which already uses the "LIVE.COM Streaming 
Media" libraries to play (incoming) RTSP/RTP streams.

Note, in particular, the file "livedotcom.cpp", which forms the interface 
between the rest of VLC and the "LIVE.COM Streaming Media" code.  (Any 
questions that you have about the "livedotcom.cpp" file should really be 
sent to a VLC-related mailing list; not to this list.)
