MPEG-4 works Nicely now. What I have is a bunch of hardware MPEG-2 encoders sitting in a rack, I can now take in a network RTP stream and de-packetize it, convert it to MPEG1 with FFMPEG so that your RTSP server can stream the content. Now joy of joys I can use FFMPEG to transcode into MPEG4-ES and stream it over the internet. Thanks Ross!
