Hello All,

Back to the project-that-would-not-die, I used openRTSP as requested,
here's the output:

=========================================================
Opened URL "rtsp://69.90.55.159:8554/
Channel_000a27000401dc2d_Broadcast", returning a SDP description:
v=0
o=- 1129951009512703 1 IN IP4 192.168.1.104
s=Session streamed by "BeThere!"
i=Channel_000a27000401dc2d_Broadcast
t=0 0
a=tool:LIVE.COM Streaming Media v2005.05.26
a=type:broadcast
a=control:*
a=range:npt=0-
a=x-qt-text-nam:Session streamed by "BeThere!"
a=x-qt-text-inf:Channel_000a27000401dc2d_Broadcast
m=video 0 RTP/AVP 26
c=IN IP4 0.0.0.0
a=control:track1

Created receiver for "video/JPEG" subsession (client ports 56090-56091)
Setup "video/JPEG" subsession (client ports 56090-56091)
Created output file: "video-JPEG-1"
Started playing session
Receiving streamed data (signal with "kill -HUP 3800" or "kill -USR1
3800" to terminate)...
===========================================================

Nothing is written to the file, "video-JPEG-1", but otherwise it
appears to be operational?

Also, doesn't MPlayer do this? I cannot get MPlayer to play the
stream in question, either.

Do I really need a static IP for this?

Thanks,

Neil Alexander

PS(For extra credit in the stupid question department, when it says
"client port 56090-56091 and such, what does that mean as far as my
on-demand-rtsp server is concerned?)
