[Live-devel] About detection of network connection

Hi everyone,
I am using live libray.
When the network connection is down,I want 
 
to continuously send some command/request
 
to the RTSP server in order to know when the 
 
network connection is OK and if it is OK,I 
 
continue receiving data from the server.
 
Does anyone know which function can I use to 
 
this? 
Any advice will be appreciated.
