This is not a QuickTime mailing list!
However, the "LIVE555 Streaming Media" software (and other
standards-compliant streaming media systems, including QuickTime) use
RFC 3640 for streaming most AAC audio streams (the
"audio/MPEG4-GENERIC" MIME type), but use RFC 3016 (a more specific
specification) for MPEG-4 Video streams (the "video/MP4V-ES" MIME
type) and for LATM-formatted AAC audio streams (the "audio/MP4A-LATM"
MIME type).
