That is good to hear, however based on using the live555MediaServer as a test I have successfully streamed MPEG-2 videos from both my Red Hat and Monta Vista Linux boxes to my VLC client running on Windows - BUT, although I am able to stream a MPEG-4 video from the Red Hat box, I am unable to do so from the Monta Vista box. I have provided the output from the VLC client when trying to run the MPEG-4 video from live555MediaServer on Monta Vista.
(I have X'd out the IP to protect the innocent)...

...it successfully opens the stream, but then performs a StreamClose and shows EOF reached. I of course am testing with the exact same code source and test files on both boxes. Any ideas?
Thank you,
Chris

My ultimate goal is to get it running on Monta Vista. I came across this post from a year ago and was wondering if it still holds true howeverŠ?

No, that message was referring to MPEG-4 video contained within a MPEG-2 Program Stream, so it's probably not relevant to you.
Šlive555 does not have the "out of the box" capability to stream MPEG-4 from Monta Vista?
There's nothing special about Monta Vista - it's just a brand of Linux. As far as I know, our software works with all versions of Linux.
