Hi,
i wanted to save the H.264 video stream which is sent over RTP. The H.264
stream needs to be saved in .mp4 format with hint track added. For this used
the openRTSP utility.
i am able to generate the .mp4 file But if i try to stream this .mp4 file
using Darwin Media Server it does not work. The client player(vlc or
quicktime) not able to play video.
However if i try to play the .mp4 file in the vlc player it is playing
properly(i.e. local playback, not the streamed playback).
Is it problem with the hint track or some other problem?
While going through mailing list i came across the following mail
http://lists.live555.com/pipermail/live-devel/2006-December/005530.html
in this Ross Finlayson mentioned that support for .mp4 format is not fully
tested and debugged.
Is this problem still exists in the latest code also?
If this bug needs to be corrected please let me know which part of the
source code needs the modification.

Warm Regards,
prb
