[Live-devel] Reliable UDP -- does it make sense?

I have got past the crash/exit issue by using a BasicUDPSink (which is preferable for this application.

My current problem is that it only seems to run doGetNextFrame once. I am currently just returning to prove if the scheduler is looping.

Any ideas.

Thanks

I have been looking into that with no luck. I am not getting any debug when running in the live code but looking at the source and following the basic stack calls it looks like it exits from the SingleStep() function at the error and exits. Can you tell me anything about what types of errors are detected there?

Thanks

I am using an MPEG2TransportStreamFramer and a SimpleRTPSink as you describe. The MPEG2TransportStreamFramer is created using the DeviceSource as you described earlier.

I then execute the sink->startplaying then taskScheduler().doEventLoop() at which point the application exits out (crashes) but with no stack trace.
Any thoughts?

Not really. I suggest debugging this using low-tech methods - i.e. printf(). Assuming that the supplied demo application "testMPEG2TransportStreamer" works OK for you, then the problem is most likely with the new code (for your input source etc.) that you wrote. That's what I'd focus on.
