Perhaps the problem is with your "self implemented media server"? I
suggest that you try testing your client using one of our
(unmodified) RTSP server applications - "testOnDemandRTSPServer" or
"live555MediaServer" first.
It might also help if you could get our "openRTSP" client running on
your iPhone/iPad, and first use that - rather than your own client
application - for testing.
