Yes, our server is live555 based as well.  At the time, I did try updating,
but that didn't appear to resolve the issue.  Here's the change that would
allow the library to recover:

...this lets the client keep going, but some data gets tossed, so I get
jerky playback.  Seems like it involves the stream channel ID as well,
which would corroborate well with your description?  When I get a chance,
I'll revisit the issue and see if latest on both sides resolves anything.
