> 1. How and where can I change the bitrate of the HTTP stream so that the delay time can be reduced?
You can't. The file "bipbop-gear1-all.ts" takes 30 minutes to play (when you play it locally, i.e., using a media player). When you stream it (from a streaming server, such as ours), it streams at the same rate - so that it takes 30 minutes to stream. That's what "streaming" means. If you want to download the file at a faster rate than the rate at which the video plays, then just put it on a HTTP server, and download it as a file.
Our server is a streaming server, not a file server.
> 3. This is regarding the "trick play functionality". Under the link: http://www.live555.com/mediaServer/#trick-play, it says that the feature is not supported by all the media types. Can you please let me know the suported media types? (Do not know if the media types in the link given is recent & up-do date)
Yes, our web site is up-to-date.
> 4. This is regarding the MPEG2Transportstreamindexer. In the link http://www.live555.com/liveMedia/transport-stream-trick-play.html, there is a comment which says:
> "(Be warned that this program is currently rather slow, so I suggest running it on the fastest computer that you have.)" My concern is this will have a great impact on the performance if I am executing this in a embedded system ?
I don't know (because I don't know anything about your 'embedded system'). You'll have to try this for yourself.
