Hi Ross,
I was wondering if you had been watching the developments with WebRTC
and it's acceptance by a few of the major browser players (Chrome,
Firefox, and Opera)
Based on my first pass looking at it, it looks like the transport is RTP
with another signalling protocol called ROAP instead of RTSP or SIP. It
also looks like they trying to integrate some of the NAT traversal
protocols like STUN and ICE.
Google has a open source library for the WebRTC protocol, I think it's
called Jingle but it would be nice if it turned out that Live555 could
just work with it.
Anyway I was just wondering if you were at all thinking about bring
WebRTC support to Live555.
Thanks,
Matt S.
