Believe me, I've been keeping *very* close track of the WebRTC work.  In fact, at this very moment I'm at the IETF meeting in Atlanta, and have attended both of the WebRTC sessions that have been held there.

I hope that someday it will be possible to view LIVE555 server streams from a WebRTC-enabled web browser.
