[Live-devel] RTSP server behind a router (Ross Finlayson)

Hi, Ross

First of all, we now use the latest release 2015.09.24.

Secondly, you are right, we are behind a router in which we have setup
the NAT and we enabled the UPnP.

Looking at the rtsp messages exchange between an IP Axis camera (behind
the router) and the

testrtspclient, we have seen that the AXIS do not send the source and

destination address in the setup message response.

So, we have thought to modify the code, to mimic the axis camera
behaviour.

In this way with the testRTSPclient we have started to see data stream.

Since we don't think to be in a particular case, we are wondering
whether is correct

to take off the source and the destination from the setup message
response,

without breaking the RTSP compliance.

Furthermore we have also seen that when we connect to the Axis camera

from internet, it uses the public IP in the rtsp messages.

The camera retrieves its public IP via UPnP.

Bottom of line, what do you think:

1) if we take off the source and destination from the setup message
response?

2) if we retrieve the public IP via UPnP and use it in the rtsp
messages?

Thanks

Bye
