These are two completely different things.  The statement "QuickTime Player doesn’t support mkv files” implies that you’re talking about the QuickTime Player application being unable to play a mkv file directly - i.e., not over a network.  This would have nothing to do with RTSP, or our server, or our software at all.

Once again, are you talking about playing a H.264 file (in whatever format) directly, or over a network (via our server) using RTSP?  If the latter, then that contradicts the statement that “QuickTime Player […] does not recognize internet addresses starting with ‘rtsp’”.  But if it’s the former, then this has nothing to do with us at all.

You and/or your ‘testers' are not being very clear at all.

But, under the assumption that it’s really the case that “QuickTime Player […] does not recognize internet addresses starting with ‘rtsp’”, then I’ve removed - from our web site - the mention of QuickTime Player being a "standards-compliant RTSP/RTP media client”.
